It was a flurry of activity yesterday and way too much drama last night. I thought I had been transported to teenybopper land. So let’s move on to grown up conversation.
I made an incredible crab quiche last night to compliment a meal that my friend made.
We shared a nice bottle of 1998 Chateau Meyney, Saint-Estephe, which is a famous wine-growing area of Bordeaux. The wine was the color of deep garnet with dark cherry and plum on the nose. I tasted plum, licorice and blackberry with a touch of bitter. It was a rather short to medium finish. http://www.meyney.fr
And now I’m off for a power walk by the water.
