I stepped out of my comfort zone last evening and decided to try scotch after a very long hiatus. I have been avoiding it since the age of 17 when I stupidly decided to dip into my mother’s supply of scotch. I don’t need to spell out the ensuing results, other than the fact that I have had an aversion to the smell and taste of scotch ever since.
So there I sat with a glass of Old Pulteney single malt scotch whiskey in front of me. I was trying to get up the nerve to inhale it and then actually drink it! Well, I can’t think of a better way to be re-introduced to scotch, than trying Old Pulteney. It had a lovely floral aroma that tickled my nose. It was gentle and warm with a sweet but subtle molasses and honey flavor. I truly enjoyed it! Check out the website: http://www.oldpulteney.com/
Have a great day!
